The 2013 Panasonic FT60B and DT65B models are very similar, in terms of design and specifications. The picture quality in 2D and 3D is the same too, both models incorporate the IPS panel with 1600Hs of BLS, the same processor but the model DT60 includes Local Dimming.

The FT60 model is only for Europe, Panasonic eliminates some extras to reduce costs, will be for the European crisis?

The FT60 includes 2 pairs of glasses while the DT65 includes 4x glasses 3D. The FT60B doesn't incorporate the "touch pad" and the tuner is simple. The DT65B incorporates dual tuner to use the multi-window PIP.

LG LA740V: is it a better choice than LA860W?

The LG LA740V is a 2013 model, it has an IPS panel which offers the LG Cinema 3D passive. This model is very similar to LG LA790A and is offered in 47, 55 or 60 inches. The design of the screen with Edge LED technology has 200 Hz, increasing with MCI to 800Hz. The Smart TV improves, in  these LA7000 models, with dual core processor. Includes some interesting extras as the "Magic Control", voice control , 3D glasses, Dual-Play, Wi-Fi built-in, ... All features of this TV are very similar to LG LA8600 model. It is, perhaps, a better option to enjoy an incredible design and a good 2D image with lower price than the top model.

Samsung F6100: The first step of F6000 series (2013)

Samsung has decided to continue with good equipment, it incorporating in all F6000 models: active 3D, 2D-3D converter, glasses ... This model, the Samsung F6100, is the low-end model of the 6000 series in 2013 and is presented in the most classic screen sizes: 32, 40, 46 and 55 inches. We hope that if the model is successful in terms of sales, Samsung launch new models of 37, 50 and 60 inches.
This model doesn't incorporate dual-core processor or the image enhancement, Micro Dimming, these extras are incorporated in the higher F6000 models. This TV is the cheapest of the Samsung LED TV with 3D but without SmartTV. Anyway this model isn't a bad TV, it has good compatibility (AVI, MKV, ..) and 200Hz CMR for displaying fast moving images.

Conclusion (verdict):

The F6100 replaces the ES6100 2012 model, both models are on sale during 2012. Technical improvements aren't many. The 3D isn't good but Samsung continues to promote active technology. Samsung offers two pair 3D glasses, if you want more glasses you must buy these. In conclusion we can say that it is a simple LED TV without extras as voice control. The 3D is just a bonus but we consider that it isn't a problem. The Samsung F6100 has good image quality, 200Hz CMR for watching sports and good connectivity for connecting hard drives or PC and watch movies in HD without problem.

Difference Between Samsung F8000 vs ES8000

The Samsung F8000 is a 2013 model, while the ES8000 is a 2012 model. The Samsung ES8000 is considered the best LED TV model 2012 and is expected to evolution, the F8000, will be one of the best LED TV of 2013.
The improvements implemented by Samsung in its 8000, is especially to respond to the most criticized aspects of its predecessor: Voice Control, processor speed, video streaming navigation (HDVC codec support), ...

One of the most significant improvements is the processor. The Samsung F8000 has a new Quad-Core processor, which according to Samsung ES8000 triples speed, useful for Smart TV speed and for image enhancement CMR.

In the image quality has been seen an improvement with the new technology "Precision Black", similar to MicroDimming, offering greater contrasts. The CMR has also increased from 800Hz  to 1000Hz, we do not notice it too much this difference in CMR.

The design remains very similar, Samsung has designed a new stand with a curved bar. The bezel is almost invisible with only about 6 millimeters. In our view the F8000 doesn't improve the ES8000 design. The screen size of F8000 series includes new models 65 and 75 inches in addition to the 46, 55, 60 inches.

Conclusion:
The 2013 model, like the model of 2012, are a little below the top models of each brand like Samsung F8000 or Panasonic WT60. The price of this model is also slightly lower. The LA860V LG SmartTV is not the best LED TV, it hasn't the best passive 3D, or doesn't offer the best black levels, but it is a very good option for Cinema lovers, sports or video games. This model is a television complete with a lot extras and good picture quality, everything that a regular TV user needs. The main drawback is the price, as for normal user can found televisions  with fewer unnecessary extras and a lower price.

Panasonic FT60: Like DT65 without extras

The LED TV Panasonic FT60 is a new series of Panasonic for 2013. Panasonic has created a new series intermediate between DT65 and ET60 series. It is very similar to the model DT65, with the same design but with some extras less. This model doesn't include Local Dimming but is equipped with: Wi-Fi, passive 3D, Smart Viera (SmartTV), ... This model is on sale only in Europe at the moment on the lookout for sales results. The 2D picture quality is excellent as well as all the high-end Panasonic (FT60, DT65 and WT60). The passive 3D is lower than active 3D offering in Panasonic 2012 models.

This is almost like a TV DT65 model, the main difference are the extras. This model doesn't include Voice interaction or Touch Pad, and brings only two 3D glasses. The technical specifications of this TV are amazing with 1600Hz (BLS) for fast moving images, a good processor that helps applications and navigation, web browser with Flash for viewing streaming videos, 3D passive, very good viewing angle, ... You just have to decide if you want extras or not to opt for this model FT60 or the DT65.

The DT65 Panasonic model provides a greater variety of sizes, this fact clearly shows that Panasonic claims that this model is a "top sales". This model can be found in sizes from 42 to 60 inches. Conclusion (verdict):
The IPS panel offers a 178 º  viewing angle. The BLS and the Hz of panel often is more than enough to see images fast as sports or action movies without ghosting. Panasonic has changed its panel and left the active 3D technology, considered the best of 2012, for their new Passive 3D, Samsung starts to be alone with active 3D. The 2D image is excellent and we can only say that perhaps some reflection on the screen if there is a direct lighting. We belive that it model will be top of sales during 2013.

Difference between Samsung F7000 vs F8000

The main difference between these models is the CMR and the Audio output. The F7000 has a CMR of 800Hz instead of 1000Hz of the F8000. Anyway have the same panel, we do not believe it is a noticeable difference.

The design, like every year, varies greatly from the 7000 series to the 8000 series. This is perhaps because they are very similar TVs in specifications and design makes the difference. We belive that the base/stand design of the Samsung F7000 is more successful.
As in previous years, there are no many differences between these models. The Samsung F7000 includes all extras: Smart Interaction: voice and movement, Smart Touch, USB recorder, ...

This model of Samsung ES7000 is the second step of Samsung 2013, behind the F8000. These models are quite similar, both has active 3D and SmartTV. The Samsung F7000 incorporates significant improvements compared with 2012 ES7000 model, it includes Micro Dimming Ultimate technology, a new quad-core processor, integrated camera, Smart Interaction, ... This high-end model gets better image quality with better blacks on the edge of the screen. The TV bizel is almost invisible with only 6 millimeters.
This year 2013, Samsung has improved its 7000 series bringing it is very similar to the best of the best. The only main difference with the model F8000 is the Audio and CMR.

The bezel around the screen is almost non-existent, it is very minimalist and elegant. The materials are of high quality with a simple two-legged stand. The depth of the TV without stand is 3.8 cm.

Conclusion:
This is definitely one of the best, if not the best LED TV 2012, it is also true that in 2012 the price made it inaccessible to most users. This 2013 is available from about £2000 in 47-55 inches, something much more acceptable. We consider this model a 2013 model and recommend purchase as one of the best LED TV of the moment, waiting for the new OLED (over £5000) and high-end TVs like Samsung F8000 (not 4K) , Panasonic WT60, ...
SmartTV Content remains poor although the speed has improved, the 3D is acceptable and although the color is great, especially in HD, blacks are not what was expected, Samsung continues to lead with blacker blacks.

The Samsung LED TV model EH6030 is a 3D TV but without SmartTV. The panel is equivalent to EH5000 models. The design of the TV isn't Slim Design, the EH6030 is 9 cm depth.
